Bangladesh, a potential threat for New Zealand

Bangladesh have played impressive cricket over last couple of years. They have beaten few big teams in world cricket including likes of Pakistan (3-0), India (2-1) and South Africa (2-1) in One-International series.

Further they continued their good work to defeat Zimbabwe and Afghanistan untill their winning streak was halted by England. England got away with 2-1 in a three-match One-International series. They also played two-match test series which ended in a draw courtesy, great courage shown by Tigers on home soil.

Now, Tigers are touring New Zealand for 3 ODI, 3 T20I and 2 Test Series on the tour. Looking at their current form they look potential threats for Men in Black which they will be aware. Few players have shown character and improved a lot during last couple of years while most experienced Shakib Al Hasan has been consistent.

Shakib Al Hasan:

He has been greatest cricketer for Bangladesh till now. An experienced all-rounder, always been among top all-rounder list over all formats of cricket. He raise his hand whenever team needs him and he equally lives up to the expectation on most of the occasion.

Mustafizur Rahman:

Though, out from the team due to injury returns to the squad for New Zealand Series. He took two wickets in a practice match against New Zealand XI and announced his comeback. He has plenty of variation in his attack which can ask BlackCaps tough questions in the middle.

Mehedi Hasan:

He announced his presence in world cricket on his debut series against England when picked 19 wickets in two test match and he was awarded man of the series for his great effort.

Mominul Haque:

Test batting average of 51.66 and four centuries to his name already – including two against New Zealand on the tourists last trip down under in 2013. He can play and will be a key cog in the Bangladesh batting line-up coming in at first drop.
