England Lions aims to go undefeated in England A Tri-Series 2016


England Lions will take on decimated Sri Lanka A in last game of England A Tri-Series 2016 on Monday (25 July) at St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury. This game is between table topper and bottom dweller, Sri Lanka A will look for consolation win when they take field for last time in this Tri-Series while England seeks another win to go undefeated in this tournament.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka A haven’t won a single match so far in this Tri-Series. They will look to win this encounter and end their campaign on high but chances looks bleak against in-form England Lions who haven’t lost any game yet.

Sri Lanka A haven’t managed to play full 50 overs in all three matches they have played so far. They come into this fixture tasting defeat against Pakistan A by 4 wickets. Sri Lanka A won the toss and opted to bat first but they were folded down to 254 runs in 47th over. Bhanuka Rajapaksa played half-century knock while rest of the batsman failed to convert the good start.
