South Africa will lock horns with decimated Australia aiming series win at Kingsmead, Durban on Wednesday (05 October). Host are already 2-0 up in five-match ODI series while visitors are yet to leave any impact on this tour.
Host have outplayed Australia in both games. They won first game by 6 wickets and comes into third game at the back of 142 runs victory in second game. Biggest strength have been their batting which helped them chase easily as well as set big total in first and second game respectively.
Quinton de Kock (178 runs) massive century in first match and Faf du Plessis (111 runs) match winning knock in second game have been highlights of the series as far as batting is concern. Meanwhile, Andile Phehlukwayo has been impressive in this series with ball claiming six wicket in two matches.
Faf du Plessis and co needs to put one more good performance to win ODI series. Once again, onus will be on opener to give a good solid start to give their middle order to capitalize.
On the other hand, Australia will look to save the series. They have been unsuccessful in all departments of cricket especially from their batsman. Batsman have failed to stay at the crease which resulted defeated while chasing and defending.
