Jamaica Tallawahs

Tallawahs have already secured their qualifier berth with one game remaining after this and that is also against St. Lucia Zouks. They leading the points table with 13 points out of 8 games played so far in CPL 2016. They come in this fixture after one and half week rest so they will be fresh and look to stay at the top of the table.

Jamaica Tallawahs powerhouse Chris Gayle started this tournament with few blazing inning but he failed to carry on moment he got initially. Gayle’s form may have raised concern in camp but top players Kumar Sangakkara, Shakib Al Hasan and Andre Russell have played their part at crucial moments in games.

Since Tallawahs have already qualified, it gives Gayle a great chance to get back in form. More pressure have been added to shoulders of Andre Russell after leading wicket-taker Dale Styne flew back home.

St. Lucia Zouks are placed third in table which means they need to win at least one game out of remaining two to stay in race for qualifiers. It may be difficult for Zouks because both of their games is against Jamaica Tallawahs who have lost only one game in CPL 2016.

Three wins in last four matches reveals the secret how a bottom placed team jumped to third place. However, Zouks outfit comes in this encounter on the back of three wicket loss to Trinbago Knight Riders who are also fourth in the table with same number of points as Zouks (8 points).

The positive for the Zouks outfit is that their key players Shane Watson, Mike Hussey, Johnson Charles and skipper Darren Sammy have found form at crucial juncture of CPL 2016. They all need to fire if Zouks hopes to qualifier for knock-outs.
