Putting to bat first by Zouks they lost Brendon MacCullum early in the inning when the score on board was 14 runs.

Darren Bravo who was one of the leading scorer last season played brilliant knock of 44-balls 63 to give Trinbago Knight Riders a decent total. He was supported by Umar Akmal who played a short cameo of 28-balls 30 runs.

Trinbago Knight Riders needed early wickets to be in the game but bowlers failed to do so. Johnson Charles played elegant inning of 38-balls 52 runs and kept hitting balls outside boundary rope. Dwayne Bravo and Sunil Narine were able to take two wickets each.
