Mumbai Indians unmoved during last stage of group matches claimed top spot with 20 points, Rising Pune Supergiants managed to grab second spot with 18 points. Sunrisers Hyderabad after suspense over their qualification finished third with 17 points followed by KolKata Knight Riders with 16 points.

Mumbai Indians are one of the most consistent team of the Indian Premier League. Two times champions have reached play-offs stage seven times including two times title win and runner-up in IPL season 2010. They have played as a unit, each and every player have stood up to take responsibility at different stage of the game.
Meanwhile, Rising Pune Supergiants, they had forgettable last season played with lots of determination to finish second in the table. Largely, bowling were the key success during the league stage, They had only one win in first four matches means last season failure seems to be resurfacing again but they came back strong to win next three.
Shardul Thakur, Jayadev Unadkat and Imran Tahir have been excellent for RPS. Rising Pune Supergiants have restricted their opponent below hundred mark twice, defending the target of 158 they restricted RCB to 96 while in must win game against Kings XI Punjab, fabulous bowling from RPS folded RPS to just 73 runs.\
RPS will definitely miss service from their veteran all-rounder Ben Stokes who left India after league games.
